Fachkommunikation Englisch Rechtswissenschaften (C1.1)
Strong English skills are essential for studying, researching, and working in an international environment. This course helps you advance your English to C1.1 while working with topics from law and related fields. You will strengthen your ability to understand complex texts, express ideas clearly, and communicate confidently in academic and professional settings.
You will practise key skills such as defining and comparing concepts, describing and classifying information, and using dictionaries effectively. The course also develops professional communication through emails, memoranda, and presentations, as well as strategies for summarizing and paraphrasing complex texts. Work with selected legal materials will support your confidence in handling language from your field. Throughout our interactive sessions, you will actively engage in pair work, group discussions, presentations, feedback, and practical exercises.
By the end of this course, you will be able to use English more flexibly and effectively for your studies and career, with an added awareness of legal language where relevant.
